Conversations at Bolivar Gallery at the University of Kentucky

A few weeks ago an exhibition I was a part of – Conversations – closed at the University of Kentucky’s Bolivar Gallery.  The exhibition featured new work from Tiger Lily Press and The Northern Kentucky Printmakers.  Gallery director Becky Allen and her student team of installers did a wonderful job hanging the show in this new exhibition space.  The exhibition was a print specific show and centered around the central theme of conversations.  Andrea Knarr did an excellent job of curating this exhibition for both of its venues, first at Northern Kentucky University and then it traveled down to the University of Kentucky.

My two prints featured the relief printed front and back of the floormats from my high school truck, a brown 1986 Chevy S-10.
