Chanasai – relief block

This post is a continuation of my series showcasing work I created while the 2014 Working Artist in Residence at Tiger Lily Press.  The images below show my relief block Chansai before it was inked, its first proof, and a final image of the finished print.  The matrix/block is created from the unused portions of a Buddhist temple wooden model kit.
