For a Better World 2015 – poetry readings

Last night I attended the poetry readings which where part of SOS ART 2015 at the Art Academy of Cincinnati by poets from the book For a Better World 2015.  I completed an illustration of Terry Petersen’s poems for the book and was looking forward to hearing/seeing her read some of her work.  It was a great evening listening to half of the participating poets reading excerpts from their body of work.  The night and the book were both a success and a testament to the hard-work and dedication of Saad Ghosn to the community.  Here is a link to an interview on our local NPR affiliate WVXU from April with Saad discussing his annual anthology, For a Better World: Poems & Drawings for Peace & Justice.
