Price Hill Thrill finished take-away print

On Thursday I was finally able to proof my finished linoleum block for the Price Hill Thrill take-away print.  Not being very familiar with the Vandercook proofing press I asked the very knowledgeable TLP studio manager Susan Naylor to lend me a hand.  For proofing we locked down a 3/4″ plank of wood to raise the linoleum block to type high and were able to pull a couple nice proofs for the upcoming edition.  As we were printing the Weston’s Dennis Harrington and CityBeat’s Steven Rosen stopped by TLP checking-in for the upcoming Price Hill Thrill and were able to see Susan and me demonstrate pulling a proof.  I am very happy with the finished image/print and grateful for Susan’s expertise.  It was a great studio day at Tiger Lily and looking forward to the upcoming Price Hill Thrill.
