Punch Needle Wendy

Introduced to the technique by my friend and fellow artist Cindy Sturdevant – my recent obsession has become punch needle, also known as Russian punch needle.  If you are not familiar with what punch needle is or how the technique works it is basically a simple tool which allows you to create dimensional needle art work.  You can check out all things punch needle at the Punch Needle Marketplace.  Currently I am interested in this adaptation of a new craft based technique into my own art practice.  My first punch needle design is of the current Wendy’s logo.  I will add the finished work when complete.
