As a child one of my favorite things to do was sit in the back seat of the car while my parents drove around looking at old Victorian farm homes. They would day dream in the front about what their old mansion would look like or what they liked or disliked about this house or that. This has left me with not only a good eye for a “Painted Lady” but with constant happy thoughts of my childhood home and parents. When I was working as the Tiger Lily Press 2014 Working Artist in Residence I built a Victorian model home and created a print from the unused, remaining model pieces. The title of the print Vikki’s Victorian is for my mother and for those rides in the country with my parents.
